He's the man behind the binoculars at the shooting range.
Concentrated. Quiet. On the radio, he analyses information to boost
performance. Better than anyone, he knows that the tiniest thing can
propel an athlete into the limelight. For eight consecutive years, he
was one of the architects behind the success of French biathlon on
the international stage.
This man from the Vercors was one of the musketeers in the close
circle around Martin Fourcade. His departure for Norway in the spring
of 2016 marked the start of a new chapter in his coaching career.

À la radio, il distille les infos comme des points de passage vers la
performance. Lui mieux que quiconque sait que des petits riens peuvent
faire basculer l’athlète dans la lumière. Huit années durant, il fut l’un
des artisans du succès du biathlon français sur la scène internationale.
Lui, l’homme du Vercors était l’un des mousquetaires de la garde
rapprochée de Martin Fourcade. Son départ au printemps 2016 pour
la Norvège a marqué le début d’un nouveau chapitre dans sa carrière
d’entraîneur.
