The story of an Australian woman with multiple lives. She
used to be an elite tennis player and author but adventure
was her true calling.
Since 1993, Kate Leeming has crossed the planet,
from St-Petersburg to Australia, and from Vladivostok
to trails in deepest Africa. She could make a living
simply recounting her wanderings. But a new quest
was calling Kate. In the spring of 2016, she travelled
400 km through the Norwegian fjords in the depths of
winter at the handlebars of a two-wheel drive fatbike.
The aim of this Scandinavian "outing"? To prepare
for her next expedition in the Antarctic: 1,800 km in
45 days in the heart of a region where temperatures can
reach -90°C. She sets off in November. The life of Kate
Leeming? It's all about conquest.

aventurière.
Depuis 1993, Kate Leeming a traversé la planète, de
Saint-Pétersbourg à l’Australie, de Vladivostok aux pistes
africaines… Elle pourrait écumer les colloques pour
raconter ses périgrinations. Mais Kate devait repartir
pour une nouvelle quête. Au printemps 2016, elle parcourt
400 km en plein hiver au cœur des Fjords norvégiens au
guidon d’un Fatbike avec deux roues motrices. L’objectif de
cette "sortie" scandinave ? Préparer la prochaine expédition
en Antarctique : 1 800 km en 45 jours au cœur d’une région
où les températures peuvent atteindre -90°c. Départ prévu
