Martin Fourcade and Julbo share a long history

marked by numerous world and Olympic titles.

Having an athlete who leaves nothing to chance

in his preparations, and who knows the secret of

performance like no one else can only help us develop

the best products possible. And this is just what we've

done with the Aero Martin Fourcade pro

model.We

look back at its roots.

The idea of the Aero Martin Fourcade came into being just after

Martin's triumph at the Sochi Winter Olympics. Even though he'd

worn his Julbo Dust frames to the top of the podium, he wanted to

go even further and design his own technical sunglasses.

Working together with Julbo designer Clément Bonnet-Mathieu, they

drew up a clearly defined set of specifications: technical mono lens,

slim yet technical temples, and a more angular but lightweight frame.

After several months of constructive discussion, Aero emerged from

the drawing board. For the very best in technical excellence, the

designers took their inspiration from the new ultra-venting system

of Julbo ski goggles: the SuperFlow System, a gold prize-winner at

the ISPO Awards.

The result: extra-wide vision with no fogging and excellent protection

from the wind. Slim temples for comfort and permanent grip over

the ears. A Zebra Light Fire photochromic lens for perfect vision

whatever the conditions. But also a replacement lens for night races.

Without forgetting a neck warmer for protection from the cold. In

other words, sunglasses of the very highest order, just like Martin's

professionalism.
