THE PLAN MAKES A GOOD PLAN
LE PLAN, UN BON PLAN
After a day off featuring a big "dump" of the white stuff, they decide to ride under the
Plan de l'Aiguille, a spot known only to locals. This is not a place to lose your way, as
the end bit in the woods can quickly become a nightmare if you're not familiar with
the terrain. With 40 cm of fresh powder, Sam and Matthieu live it large and make
some great jumps. So great that they go back in the afternoon, and finish not long
before nightfall after wandering for a while, unable to see the wood for the trees.
Après une journée off marquée par une "grosse pétée de neige", la décision est
prise de rider sous le Plan de l’Aiguille, un spot seulement connu des locaux. Là,
pas question de se tromper d’itinéraire, car la fin dans les bois peut vite devenir une
grosse galère si on ne connait pas le coin. Avec 40 cm de fraîche, Sam et Matthieu
s’en donnent à cœur joie et font quelques beaux jumps. Si beaux qu’ils y retournent
dans l’après-midi pour en finir.
