ILS L'ONT FAIT !
After waiting three days because of the wind which was gusting at up to 50 knots, the team
readies itself for the final assault. At 7 a.m., they set off. At 9 a.m., Yohannes and Franck have
the 400-metre-high and almost vertical grass-covered cliff before them. To top it all, the sun
comes out and they succeed in making the Nacra fly. It’s done: they are the first to have flown
past Cape Horn in a catamaran!
Après 3 jours d'attente en raison de vent jusqu'à 50 nœuds, l'équipe se prépare
à l'ultime assaut. À 7 h, c’est le départ. À 9 h, Yohannes et Franck font face à cette falaise
de 400 m quasi à pic, couverte de végétation. Cerise sur le gâteau, le soleil se lève et
ils réussissent à faire voler le Nacra. C'est fait : ils sont les premiers à avoir volé devant le
Cap Horn sur un catamaran !
